Future Projects

This year we are planning to introduce a DIY / SOS - CAN'T COOK WON'T COOK project for S1/S2 boys. All going well this project will launch in May 2015. If you are interested in taking part please see Mr O'Donnell (Technical) or Mr Thomson ( Home Economics).  Pupls will be involved in planning healthy eating for groups of 12 pupils carrying out DIY and Gardening tasks around the cottage. Pupils will be split into work groups and given planned tasks and have to work well in small groups.

Pupils will be clearing ground works to build a vegetable and herb garden, planting seeds in school, re-planting veg in our new veg garden at Shieldgreen. Pupils will have to build and erect a small fence to stop animals from roaming into the veg garden and destroying their crops. In addtion pupils will build paths and walkways to allow easy access to and from the cottage. It's going to hard work, mucky and great fun. If you see yourself as a budding handy Andy or Alan Titchmarsh then get involved.
